Barre

Barre is a low-impact, high-intensity movement style that blends elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga shapes, and strength training.   Muscle groups are worked through precision and control. Classes emphasize small, isometric movements, high repetitions, alignment, breath, and core engagement.  

 

Music is essential to barre. Movements are choreographed into full-body workouts that are cued following tempo. You’ll use a barre for support, light weights, and varying props, like balls, blocks, or resistance bands. 

 

Barre classes create a feeling of deep, targeted activation.
